The Central Park Master Association recently contacted Glenn Wynn, the Shelby Twp. Planning Director, to enlist his aid in requesting that a traffic study be performed at the two entrances to the Central Park community.Click on the image at left to read the letter he received back from the Macomb County Road Commission confirming that they will be undertaking a traffic study to determine if traffic signals are warranted at the 22 Mile Rd. and/or Van Dyke entrances to Central Park.
Verification of need is only the first step in the process. If traffic signals can be justified by the traffic study counts, then their purchase and installation must be funded in a future budget before the project can proceed.
