You should have received a letter in today's mail informing you of the upcoming annual membership meeting of the Central Park Master Association. It will be held on Friday, May 2, 2014 at the Shelby Twp. Municipal Building in the Board Room.
Sign-in begins at 6:30 PM and the meeting will begin at 7:00 PM. The purpose of this meeting is to elect one representative each from the Gardens and Meadows Associations to the CP Master Board of Directors.
Therefore, Manors co-owners can disregard the Nominating Ballot, since only co-owners of the Gardens and Meadows can nominate candidates to represent them on the CP Master Board of Directors. However, all co-owners who live in the Manors, Kensington, Gardens and Meadows Associations have the right to vote to select the Gardens and Meadows representatives from among those who have been nominated.
Mike Oakie represents the Manors on the CP Master Board and he has one more year remaining on his term.
Each Manors co-owner is strongly encouraged to fill out the General Proxy form if there is any doubt in their mind as to whether they will be able to attend the May 2nd meeting. Your completed General Proxy counts as if you are physically present for establishing a quorum and it allows your appointed proxy to vote on your behalf at the meeting. If you lend up being able to attend after all, your completed General Proxy will be returned to you at the door when you sign-in.
The General Proxy blank form can also be downloaded and printed by clicking here.
Please follow the "Instructions" listed on the bottom of the form when completing your General Proxy. If you do not have a neighbor who will be attending the May 2nd meeting, you may give your completed form to either Mike Oakie (49993 Watling) or Mike Grobbel (49997 Lexington East). Enter their name in the blank following the word "appoint", then print and sign your name, add the date and your address (you can omit the "Unit No." if you do not remember it).
